CTI FoodTech (CTI)

CTI FoodTech manufactures since 1986 food processing machinery, specialized in peach and apricot pitters, apple and pear coring, even if the core business of the company is represented by the processing of peaches. With more than 600 machines installed all over the world, CTI currently holds the second place in the world among the producers of peach stoning machines. With the machinery produced by CTI, 6 billion peaches are processed every year, representing about 40% of the world production of processed peaches. Currently CTI aims to diversify the gamut of its products and commitment in affirming its vocation to continuous research and innovation in the food processing sector.

Main tasks
CTI will be mainly involved in WP2 in which it will provide a key contribution in design and building pilot scale extractors and connections with existing upstream (e.g., PEF, HPH and SWE) and downstream (e.g., membrane separation) processing line. CTI AM will also play crucial role in the frame of WP5 (Analyses of consumer behavior) by involving food manufactures and other key stakeholders involved in the fruit value chain.
