ISVV is an institution of the University of Bordeaux. From a methodological standpoint, the ISVV scientists use a wide range of cutting-edge approaches and techniques in numerous areas: agronomy, ecophysiology, microbiology, epidemiology and population studies, chemistry and biochemistry, molecular biology, process engineering, environment, biomedical analysis, statistics, modeling, etc.

 

Main tasks
ISVV will be the coordinator of the WP2 (Lab-scale integrated extraction and purification processing of bioactive compounds). Furthermore, its role in the project will be to evaluate the technical feasibility of the application of subcritical water extraction technology to improve the extraction at a laboratory scale, the influence of operating parameters for each case, and the feasibility in terms of industrial scale.
